The Shimmies were in full force and had a wild time at Wild Goose Creative. Our awesome audience suggestions rocketed us into a new stratosphere of high energy fun and physical frivolity! Thank you to Wild Goose Creative for letting us be a part of their very successful comedy festival this weekend. We hope it was as good for them as it was for us. Does anyone have a cigarette…

A shimmy shake down is our annual meeting where we discuss the goals, desires, mission statement and our renewed commitment to The Shimmy Shake Project. We met at our favorite little hot spot at the Thai Tai on King Ave. The meeting was deemed a success as commented by the cashier, “it’s obvious you are good friends” as the shimmies were leaving the restaurant. By the way, you need to stop by and look at this cashier’s “cup art,” he’s really talented. The cohesiveness, respect and support we have for each other, as witnessed by this person, is what we hope to project as a troupe on stage. God, if it was only that simple!!! Our individual strengths, sincere acceptance of each other and unique personalities help to enrich our troupe as we continue to learn and grow in this art form called improv. We hope to continue to provide as much fun and laughter to our audience members as we have playing together. Come out and see us tonight at Gresso’s at 961 S. High St. The show starts at 8pm! You’ll find us upstairs with Fake Bacon and See Spot Run. It’s free!!
