Gina is a well-traveled Midwestern woman who was lured into improv by its sexy, sexy promises of fame and fortune. The youngest member of a creative family that makes up stories and words, Gina often stops Shimmy practices cold with an obscure word or song. Of course, she acts as if we’re the crazy ones for not knowing terms like “existentialism” and “quelking.” But that doesn’t mean she can’t relate to the Shimmies. Ever the voice of reason, Gina learned the art of negotiation as the youngest of three girls. Fairness and cooperative play are vital to her, and she goes out of her way to make people feel welcome and interesting. Gina loves her hell-raising-yet-darling kitty Sonic and adores her hubby Mike. Her passion for detail serves her well in her Shimmy role as a “living Pixar cartoon.” Oh, and by the way, if you ever need ANYTHING, Gina usually has it. And everything in her purse is neatly placed in separate plastic baggies.
