Sophia
Sophia spends her days climbing the corporate ladder, and her “me time” being hilarious with the Shimmies. Long known for cracking herself up, she got into improv comedy to see if she could make others laugh, too. Her Nepalese background provides plenty of material – who said Sherpas aren’t funny? She is an avid traveler, most recently drinking Guinness in Ireland and tracking lions in South Africa. She considers laughter the global language. Her love of comedy is exceeded only by her love for her amazing husband and her shoe collection. Being a Shimmy has given Sophia great friendships, a frightening look into her psyche and ninja-like comedy skills she uses to dodge the many embarrassing moments she seems to finds herself in.
